The Drops serie magnifies the spectacle of drops on a leaf. After a rainy day the droplets linger on the leaves. The sun begins to shine, casting an iridescent glow that colors the droplets. A spectacle that needs to be magnified with a little bit of imagination.
Using vegan leather the pieces are designed to mimic the organic movement of plants.
All editions are unique.
I’m Madelon Uljee, an Amsterdam based artist. I blend art and design drawing inspiration from the everyday objects. By reimagining the concept and the appearance of it, I transform ordinary things into exciting ones.
